Do you find it difficult to do some simple tasks in the home?   Purbeck Good Neighbours are here to help you   –   just call our helpline and we will send a volunteer good neighbour to give you a hand  – all we ask is that you give a small donation to cover our expenses.

We only do small one-off tasks such as:   changing a light bulb or fluorescent tube;   sweeping a front path;   taking rubbish away;    reaching a high cupboard;   sorting out papers or clothes;     re-tuning a television or changing batteries in remotes or hearing aids

Swanage Hopper Dial a Bus                                                                          

The Swanage Hopper Dial a Bus is a community door to door bus service which operates in the Swanage area on Tuesdays between the hours of 11.00am and 3.00pm.   The bus offers return trips to Swanage Town Centre and Swanage Market providing an essential shopping service.

The Swanage Hopper Bus also offers weekly lunch club outings around the area organised by POPP (Partnership for Older People Programme)

The bus is accessible to wheelchair users.

The cost of a return trip is £3.00 payable to the driver.
