The Heart of England Rotary clubs, supported by our project partners, are again coming together to help tackle hunger! On Sunday 19th April 2020 at King Henry VIII School, Coventry, our Tackling Hunger event will:
- bring together over 200 volunteers from across the community
- to pack at least 30,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger’s overseas schools feeding programme
- support the UK Trussell Trust by collecting foodbank donations
To achieve this, we want to raise £10,000 for the meal pack ingredients plus donations to the Trussell Trust. You can help by volunteering to help pack meals on the day, helping raise money by organising fun events, making a personal donation or by sponsoring the event.
To date, our Rotary district has packed over 80,000 meals for school children overseas, please help us take that to over 100,000! Get involved, please help us make a difference!
If you would like to make a donation, this can be done via our 'Wonderful' fundraising page hosted by project treasurer, The Rotary Club of Southam 2000
