Youth Speaks Competition

Speaking competition in 3 catagories

Welcome to the new webpages for the Disrict 1060 Youth Speaks Competition organised by Rtn. David Whiteside from the Rotary Club of Birmingham Breakfast and his team. David can be contacted from HERE

RIBI regards encouraging and developing speaking and presentation skills in young people as highly important, and we are pleased that our schools seem to agree. The RIBI Youth Speaks competition, as a result, continues to go from strength to strength each year, producing some superb quality speakers in our young people aged from 11 to 18

If we roll this back through the 29 district competitions, and further back to the club or area events, it can soon be calculated that the competition involved some 2,000 entries. The quality of speakers was outstanding and the audience was hugely impressed by the talent demonstrated. This competition is open to young people in the qualifying age groups

Full rules for the 2017/18 competition are available from the lnks below to promote the competition in schools. Please note that these rules apply to the regional and RIBI finals. District and local event rules may differ
