Many Rotary Clubs in Europe and further afield offer special 'Camps and Tours' every year in which young people join others of a similar age to learn more of that country's way of life, traditions and culture thereby promoting the fourth aspect of Rotary International Understanding, Goodwill and Peace around the World:

A New Rotary website which offers young people the opportunity to travel the world - Just a click away

The ages are usually specified in the offers, which can come from anywhere in the world, but mostly from Europe.

Applicants pay the return fares, insurance cover and pocket money - all other expenses are provided by the overseas Rotary District unless otherwise stated. With the advancements in electronic technology, Internet and email communications, the boundaries and constraints that have previously placed restrictions on helping young people to travel have been blown wide open and Rotary offers the opportunities for young people to take advantage, all you need is the drive and energy to explore your horizons. Students can now visit this website to see the tours on offer.

Opportunities available will be posted here by country - Click on the country you are interested in visiting and the offers will be listed. Please check the age ranges and the closing date for entries. Occasionally the closing dates are extended if the places are not taken.

Places for camps are limited so:- Once you have selected the County and the Tour you wish to participate in you can obtain more information or obtain an application form by contacting Martin Ash, the Rotary Camps and Tours Co-ordinator for the UK and Ireland, either by phone on 01243 374373 or fax 0870 9128818 or click here to send Martin an email.
