The programme is based around the Narrow Boat "Dream Catcher" on the inland waterways, learning about the unique canal system of the UK. "Dream Catcher" is a purpose built 70ft craft, fully fitted with modern amenities such as: a microwave and electrics wired to enable portable CD's and computers to be connected
A qualified volunteer helmsman from the Warwickshire Association of Youth Clubs who own "Dream Catcher" will skipper the boat
The programme is self-catering and a leader and/or a Rotarian from the sponsoring Rotary Club or the carers organisation will be aboard to take charge of the group, arrange for the shopping trips and purchase provisions along the route.

Young Carers on the trip during 2009
The length of the trip for the young carers will vary between 2 - 4 days (1 to 3 nights) aboard "Dream Catcher" and to enhance this unique experience all the young carers will receive a certificate from Rotary.
